Ok, Dudley kin, here is a LOT of the information many of you have been asking about. Below, you will find the number of Dudley households, number of Dudley's per country, and a LOT more that I have been researching for MONTHS!
So where did I get it? It is really to long to go into, but suffer it to be said that it is VERY accurate.
So, here is the disclaimer: due to privacy, many of the respondents to national surveys (NOT conducted by me) would NOT respond. So, the actual count is off. By how much? Who knows. And then there is the census'. As we all know, their info is off to. So take it for what it is worth.
Personally, I found it interesting. Enjoy!
First, a little map. On the map itself is the URL where I got it.

In studying the above information, we can readily see that while our
surname began in England, once moved to the U.S. we quickly outnumbered our
English kin. Also note that the Dudley's tended to follow the Westward
Expansion here. While not seen, research shows that it was the time period from
1820-90 that the Dudley's of all branches moved Westward. I was, however, quite
surprised to see Texas with the greatest number of Dudley's. Virginia is the
sole exception. I would like to find out if those Dudley's are mostly descended
from the original Virginia line.
That's it for now. I am
continuing my research here, and will update it in time. God Bless.
